OVERVIEW

Welcome to Dominic Parr Photography

I'm a Manchester-born amateur photographer with a genuine love for capturing life in all its forms. Growing up surrounded by the city's rich mix of historic architecture, vibrant streets, and nearby scenic landscapes, I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty that exists all around us. That appreciation soon grew into a passion for photography—one that continues to inspire me every time I pick up my camera.

Photography, for me, is more than just taking pictures. It's about slowing down, noticing the little details, and finding unique perspectives—whether it's the texture of weathered brickwork, the calm of an early-morning landscape, or the energy of a busy street. I enjoy exploring both the big and small moments, and I believe every subject has a story worth telling through the lens.

Although I'm still learning and growing in my craft, I embrace every opportunity to improve. No project is too small or too big—whether it's a quick portrait, a local event, or a more ambitious shoot, I approach it with the same enthusiasm and dedication. My goal is simple: to capture moments honestly, creatively, and in a way that makes people feel connected to the image.

Here on my website, you'll find a collection of my favourite shots—ranging from personal projects to collaborations—each reflecting the joy I get from seeing the world a little differently. I hope you enjoy exploring my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
